The park is sited over the course of a stream that runs through the western side of Reus, being channelled as it passes through the city. The project is based on the idea of formalising the dynamics of these intermittent water courses that are typically Mediterranean. Three main paths are interlinked, connecting the Plaza Gandhi square with the Paises Catalanes avenue. At the same time, the shaping of a new topography creates parterres with plants and rest areas that are evocative of small river islands formed by sedimentation.
